A large number of reviews are from guests passing by during a long journey. Guests comment that the location is convenient, since the hotel is situated on the A1, and that it is ideal having a hotel of this nature which is so easy to find. There also seem to be views from the back of the hotel across the countryside.

Some guests complain of noise from the busy road adjacent to the hotel. However, guests do note that all rooms are triple-glazed, and that when windows are closed, noise is shut out. Some guests comment that windows have to be kept open at night due to the temperature on hot days.
