The location of this hotel is quiet and peaceful with beautiful, well-maintained grounds. Despite this serene environment, the hotel is in a central location close to many restaurants, shops and attractions and the city of Boston is only an hour away.

Some Staff Members are Rude and Intrusive
Guests reported that they encountered staff members who are rude and don't follow through on requests. There have been reports of staff who don't cancel reservations for subsequent days and charge guests for them and staff who don't act on requests or complaints. Also reported was staff who give guests the feeling that they're outsiders, staff who are intrusive and ask unnecessary questions and housekeeping staff who are not thorough.

Guests reported that the rooms at Wentworth by the Sea A Marriott Hotel & Spa are not the same as the ones pictured online. There were reports of a lot of dust, cobwebs and mildew in the rooms, old-fashioned and tattered furnishings, tacky decor and a lack of space.

Guests reported a lot of noise around the hotel coming from several sources including construction crews working outside early in the morning, conversations and footsteps from other guest rooms and loud, drunken wedding party guests who party late into the night.
