Next to the Ness Bridge in the centre of Inverness, the 4 star Highland Apartments by Mansley provide modern, serviced accommodation for leisure and business guests. Contemporary 1 and 2 bedroom apartments have oak floors and include free Wi-Fi, colour television, iPod docks, stereo, fully equipped kitchen and laundry and washing facilities. The nearest supermarket, Morrison’s, is a 5 minute bus journey from the nearby Union Street bus stop. Inverness Castle is also an easy walk away and the Scot Rail station is less than a 10 minutes walk.
The apartments enjoy splendid views across the River Ness and practically, they are just a few streets from the main railway station. If self catering, there’s a convenience store across the bridge and there’s no shortage of restaurants, pubs and shops
There’s a handy notebook in the apartment containing lots of helpful hints as to what to do and how to get there. Management/staff are also very helpful in this and all other aspects of the stay.
Apartments are modern and clean and include everything needed, even if you go completely self catering. The booking and check in process is hassle free.
You need to check in before parking the car because you need the fob that’s issued to access the car parking area! Doing it the other way round is a waste of time.
There’s no reception desk. You check in at the bar/restaurant (*handy!) below, where some staff are much more helpful than others. That bar, though, can be a bit of a pain and a source of late night noise.
The hot water supply seems to be on a timer so, at certain times of the day, you don’t have any!
