Some visitors enjoy preparing their meals in the rooms, as the kitchen seems to have all the modern utensils needed. The seating area is comfortable, and the linens are changed regularly, creating that home away from home feeling.

If you plan on parking your vehicle for the duration of your vacation, then you will love the close proximity of so many fine restaurants and unique shopping outlets. Guests love the freedom to explore at their leisure, and make their way back to the hotel when they feel ready.

There have been a few complaints from travellers who require parking for the duration of their vacation. The public parking area is across the street, and guests would prefer to have on-site parking for hotel guests only. Nonetheless, at least the parking is free of charge.

Many visitors, even those who have pets back home, have complained to management about the number of cats that roam around in the breakfast area while guests are enjoying their meal. Suggestions have been made to management to prevent this issue in the future.

Visitors have described the hallways leading up to the rooms at Ulysses Hotel as quite dusty and not very well kept. The reception area often has divers coming back from lessons, and they do leave their diving equipment at the entrance, leaving the floor damp and dirty. Guests have suggested a separate area for this equipment.
