positive:
Excellent on-site facilities
You won't want for much at this resort. In fact, the wide choice of facilities meant that many guests didn't have the need to leave the resort during their stay. Reviews also suggest that all of the available facilities are found to be of a good standard and are well maintained.
positive:
Fantastic customer service
Each member of staff at the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino seems to be on the same page where guest satisfaction is concerned. The service seems like it will be impressive from the point of check-in and throughout the duration of your stay. Everyone is happy and friendly and many take the time to learn the names of individual guests.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Bathroom doors afford little privacy
Several guests mention that they disliked the design of the bathroom doors. They are made of glass and are fixed upon a sliding mechanism that doesn't properly seal the door. This affords little privacy to guests sharing a room.
negative:
Loud music by the pool
Reviews point to the fact that the resort plays loud music by the pool between the hours of 5pm and 8pm. While this certainly adds to the fun vibe at the resort, a number of guests found the choice of "techno" style music a little off putting.
negative:
The iguana population
It's fair to say that many guests enjoyed the presence of the numerous iguanas on the resort's private island. Feeding is indeed encouraged. However, some guests found the population was overwhelming. Also, the iguanas tend to stray from the island toward the guest accommodation.
