About Premier Inn Poole North hotel
Would you choose the magic of a working quay, or the hustle and bustle of a large seaside town? Choose both, and stay at the Premier Inn Hotel Poole North. Poole Quay and Bournemouth are both nearby, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds, and all the beauty of the Dorset coastline. Start the morning with a splash and go for a dip or a surf lesson. Or splash out on something special in the boutiques of Bournemouth. See the red squirrels on Brownsea Island, or the Red Arrows if you're here for Bournemouth Air Festival. Speaking of festivals, the Great Dorset Steam Fair is a must for all heritage fans too. Back at the hotel you'll find mouth-watering food at our restaurant, and a lovely comfy bed.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Amazing customer service.
Guests describe the staff at the Premier Inn Poole North as warm, friendly and able to action any requests in a speedy and professional manner. Certain members of staff are mentioned by name, so it does seem like guests are left with a great impression of the service on offer.
positive:
Basic but comfortable rooms.
Although a number of guests describe the rooms as due a refurbishment, most agree that they are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The in-room air-conditioning seems to be one of the highlights as many guests mention it as a plus point of the accommodation.
positive:
Value for money.
Reviews indicate that guests enjoy good value for money at this hotel. The low room rates are certainly not representative of the impressive selection of facilities and amenities on offer. Free Wi-Fi, complimentary parking and the available meal deals also add to the sense of value.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Restaurant gets too busy.
The hotel restaurant appears to get crowded at times, too crowded for comfort in fact. A number of guests weren't able to eat until after 9.30pm, which isn't really suitable for families. Other guests couldn't get a reservation at all.
negative:
Family rooms can seem cramped.
Although guest rooms at the hotel are generally described as spacious, those guests who required a family room often felt differently. It seems that once the two extra beds are placed in the rooms, they can feel cramped.
negative:
Building work causes frustrations.
A number of guests found building work to extend the hotel was taking place during their stay. Not only did this lead to some unwanted noise, guests also found that the hotel was overrun with builders and car parking spaces were at a premium. Presumably, these problems will come to an end when the extension is completed.
