Positive Reviews
positive:
Superb location right on the beach.
Previous guests have been wowed by the location of the condominium hotel. Situated right on the beach, the property is said to be within walking distance of shops, restaurants, bars, and more. Those assigned a unit overlooking the Atlantic also love the view on offer.
positive:
Well-maintained gardens with lots of amenities.
The hotel building is surrounded by well-maintained tropical gardens, according to reports. These gardens offer a host of impressive amenities, including a swimming pool, hot tub, children's pool, sundeck, and koi pond, the latter of which proves popular with many.
positive:
Plenty of activities going on.
According to past reports, there are plenty of activities available to guests. From bingo and water aerobics to karaoke and volleyball, past guests report there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Older property showing signs of aging.
Past guests have pointed
out that accommodations are showing signs of age, with worn fittings, old
carpets, and mouldy bathrooms all reported. That being said, reports indicate
that the property is undergoing extensive renovation work following storm
damage from Hurricane Matthew in October 2016.
negative:
Murphy beds prove uncomfortable.
Not all units at the condo-hotel feature traditional bed. Instead, some feature a Murphy bed (pull-down bed) and/or sofa bed. According to past guests, these are not the most comfortable of sleeping arrangements, with a number of guests reporting back problems during their stay.
negative:
Guests asked to change room mid-stay.
The hotel operates a time
share schedule that sees rooms booked from Saturday afternoon to the following
Saturday morning. For guests planning a stay starting on any other day of the
week, this may result in them having to change accommodations mid-stay. This arrangement
has proven unpopular with a number of past guests.
