Set in a chic high-rise building an eight minute walk from Hanoi Zoological Garden, Lotte Hotel Hanoi offers guests in-room air conditioning and a 24-hour front desk to help with transportation arrangements. The hotel is also three kilometres from Ho Chi Minh Museum. The contemporary rooms with city views and floor-to-ceiling windows feature safety deposit boxes, mini bars and tea makers, as well as en suite bathrooms with bathtubs. Suites add separate living rooms with sofas. Room service is available. Amenities include a department store, an observation deck with panoramic views of the city and a spa area with massage services. There's also a business centre and airport transfer service for a fee. There's an on-site bar where guests can enjoy evening drinks and the restaurant offers western and local cuisine. BBQ facilities are also available, as well as a Lotte Mart for groceries. Lotte Hotel Hanoi is three kilometres from Quảng trường Ba Đình square, four kilometres from Hoàng Thành Thăng Long cultural complex and five kilometres from Ngoc Son Temple.
The hotel is in a high rise building where guests could head to the various common areas such as the fitness room, the pool and a supermarket. There's even a department store to shop in. Guests had a lot of things they needed in the actual building.
The staff were found to be friendly and attentive to guest preferences and requests. They were able to help with transportation and tours, as well as with luggage storage and with answering questions guests might have of the hotel.
The rooms were found to be bright with natural light coming in and comfortable given the good quality furnishings. The beds were comfortable to sleep on and the rooms were clean and tidy as well. Guests were also pleased with the modern en suite bathrooms.
Guests found the hotel to be a bit too far away from the central area of the city. They would have preferred a more central location. They did not find the area to have particular attractions and they needed to use a mode of transport to get to them.
Guests felt the restaurant was a bit expensive for the items they wanted. The restaurant was found to have gourmet prices when it did not feel like they were dining in a gourmet restaurant. Simple items were too expensive.
