Positive Reviews
positive:
Terrific central location
The overwhelming majority of guests were very happy with the location of the hotel, with the proximity of the beach being what most really appreciated. The HaCarmel Market, which was said to be just a couple of minutes away on foot, was also mentioned a number of times.
positive:
Exceptionally friendly an helpful staff
It was rare to read a review that did not compliment the staff in some way. Guests felt quite strongly that they were offered a very warm welcome, had a very friendly attitude and offered some great help when it came to what to see and do in Tel Aviv and the rest of Israel as well.
positive:
Excellent value for money
All guests commenting on the question of value for money reckoned that had received excellent value, citing the central location, decent accommodation and what they considered very reasonable room rates as the main reasons.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some rooms very small
A fair number of guests were unpleasantly surprised by the size of their room. The hotel offers a few different types of rooms, with the cheaper ones being especially small. Some guests had clearly not been expecting them to be as small as they were.
negative:
Reception only staffed during the day
This is a small property, and as such cannot have staff available around the clock. A number of guests mentioned that it was sometimes hard to get hold of reception staff at any time of day and that they were not on duty at all overnight.
negative:
Some cleanliness issues
There were a bit too many reports of rooms that where not properly clean for comfort. The general impression one gets is that cleaning of the rooms could be a bit slapdash.
