The spa is wonderful.
There’s nothing like adding a spa day to your holiday agenda, especially when you can have that spa treatment and then just head back to your room for a cat nap. With the addition of an indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi at your disposal, you can stay relaxed for the duration of your stay.

Pets are welcome.
It’s wonderful that pets are allowed at this hotel, especially if you like to travel with your favourite canine companion. Your dog will love it too, because there are so many great walks to be had nearby.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The hotel is mid-facelift.
While some of the guest rooms at Mercure Hyth Imperial & Spa have recently undergone renovations, many have not. Be sure to ask for a recently renovated room when you check in so you can get the best accommodations that this hotel has to offer.
negative:
Things can get noisy.
Things can get noisy at this hotel, especially during peak season and on weekends. If it’s a good night’s sleep you’re looking for, be sure to ask for a room on a high floor when you book.
negative:
The food is overpriced and average.
The food and drink here is pricey, which you would normally expect at a hotel such as this. But when you are paying a lot for the food, you would hope it is phenomenal. Unfortunately, that is not the case here, as the fare is just so-so.
