This hotel is perfect if you like peace and quiet. It's really calm and serene, and there's a lovely short walk you can do through the rainforest. Downtown is only a short drive away, and the excellent beach is within walking distance.
If you are new to the area, then the fact that the staff are so helpful will be a great bonus for you. They are super polite and have lots of useful info on the area. And even though they have their own restaurant, they will still recommend other places to dine during your stay.
If you are lucky enough to get a room with a fireplace, then you will enjoy the evenings by the fire. However, this is not essential as the rest of the rooms are quite cozy too, and the beds and chairs are nice and comfy.
This hotel has seen its fair share of guests all of which have left their mark on the carpets and furniture throughout the property. The place has some very obvious signs of wear and tear such as cracked sinks, stained carpets, and peeling paint.
