Negative Reviews
negative:
Lighting could be improved
Some guests found that the rooms were a little dull and that the lighting provided was inadequate for particular things they wanted to do, such as working or reading on an evening. Brighter lights would have been appreciated.
negative:
Some parts of the hotel appear dated
While guests love the historic building there may be parts which appear dated or in need of maintenance. Nothing particularly was a big issue, but guests felt that some attention to these issues would make the hotel exceptional.
negative:
No access to the balconies
While some rooms have a balcony, guests were unable to open the doors to be able to use it. With views of the city to be had outside, this was a disappointment.
