Positive Reviews
positive:
Personable and helpful hosts
The hosts were very popular with essentially all former
guests that stayed at the Tregenna. Along with a helpful and considerate
attitude, the hotel's hosts were said to be very friendly and personable when
interacting with visitors.
positive:
Immaculately clean and inviting rooms
Decorated in a clean and modern fashion, the rooms at the hotel were typically described as very comfortable and well-equipped. Furthermore, the accommodation's rooms were often considered spotlessly clean in general.
positive:
Excellent breakfast in the morning
The full English breakfast at the Tregenna has generated many rave reviews from previous guests. Along with plenty of items, the buffet-style breakfast was regularly regarded as being full of taste and quality.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Parking is not free or available on-site
One noted drawback about the Tregenna is the lack of any on-site parking provided. With that said, the hotel does reportedly offer off-site parking that is in close proximity - although a surcharge is required for use of the facility.
negative:
Small en-suite space
Whilst some of the rooms have been described as somewhat small in general, the supposedly limited size of the en-suite bathrooms was problematic on occasion. The tight nature of the en-suite facilities means that it can be difficult to move around in total comfort.
negative:
Simple but memorable hotel experience
As it offers little when it comes to recreational spaces with no dedicated bar, games room and so on, it can see the hotel receive a label of being overly simple. Yet despite this disadvantage, the large majority of past guests had a fantastic time at the Tregenna.
