Positive Reviews
positive:
Great food and drinks
Guests have been raving about the food here, from the breakfast, which has been declared fabulous, to the restaurant which is very well regarded. Food here is locally sourced, but good quality is always the aim. The chef is highly skilled and the food, here, overall, is very well received.
positive:
Flexible Check-in/Check-out
Check-out time is 11 am and Check-in time is 3 pm. However, the hotel can be flexible with Check-in/Check-out time on request, which is a great help to guests who have pressurised schedules.
positive:
Very nice staff
It has been repeatedly mentioned that staff here is excellent, very friendly and helpful, and ready to go the extra mile to help out the guests in any way and make their stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No housekeeping during stay
Although the rooms have been reported to be very clean and well maintained, some of the former guests have expressed disappointment that no staff member came to clean the room or make the bed during their stay. Guests found unmade beds and unemptied bins a real nuisance.
negative:
Noise from the road
The rooms on the front side of the building near the road are rather noisy, as a lot of heavy goods vehicles use the road, especially at night. This could certainly be a problem for those who are sensitive to noise. Some guests even suggested that guests should either stay in the back rooms or not stay here at all.
negative:
Monday closure/Wi-Fi weak
The bar/restaurant closes here on Mondays, which can be a bit of an inconvenience to the guests. Also, some of the guests reported a weak Wi-Fi signal, which can be a problem for those for whom connectivity is vital for business and family matters.
