Located close to the village
Guests loved the pleasant little
village in which the guesthouse is located. They loved to go for long walks and
explore the moors. The central location facilitated exploring of Devon and other
local attractions as well. The guesthouse is also close to two great pubs.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Quirkiness of the guesthouse
Some guests were put off by the quirkiness of the property,
which is full of fairies, stuffed toys and witches. Some hanging or sitting on
the shelves.
negative:
Cottage is not up to the mark
Guests in the two-bedroom cottage complained that beds were
not made daily, the lights upstairs went off and on, and the doors auto close
with a bang. Some visitors were unhappy with the low ceiling, and lack of
ventilation and waste bins in the bathrooms.
negative:
Guesthouse is difficult to locate
Though there are signboards, they are not very obvious while
driving through the village. Some guests felt that when it rains, the entrance
and the surrounding areas look shabby.
