Positive Reviews
positive:
Close to attractions.
Deadwood is a unique spot with plenty of access to historic destinations – the hotel is also centrally located in town to provide convenience to shops, restaurants and all the local attractions. If you want to spend time in the city over a few days, this hotel is a good one.
positive:
Onsite entertainment.
There is a casino open 24/7 located within the hotel – it’s fairly small, but still provides entertainment to guests and the public. If you want to do some gambling during a stay and don’t want to venture to any of the other casinos, this has a good variety of games to enjoy.
positive:
Good value.
Compared to other hotels, this Super 8 offers a substantial number of amenities and services for a reasonable nightly rate. The casino, on-site restaurant and location all make it worth staying at during a visit to Deadwood.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No pets.
Unless you have a service animals, pets are not permitted at the hotel. This could be an issue for many travelers who take pets on the road – you will need to find somewhere else to stay if you bring along your dog or cat. With proper ADA paperwork, you are permitted to bring your service animal.
negative:
No business services.
If you need to use a public computer, this property does not offer it to guests. Though business travelers do stop at the hotel for overnight stays and there is free Wi-Fi, you will need to have your own equipment to use – don’t ask the front desk to print anything, either as they do not offer it.
negative:
Limited breakfast selection.
Though a continental breakfast is provided, there is a limited selection of inexpensive basics, such as coffee and fruit or baked goods.
