Hotel Strasbourg (Geneva, Switzerland)

The fabulous city of Geneva has so much to offer and this hotel is perfect to use as a base from which to explore with its central location and close proximity to the main railway station and Lake Geneva just a short walk away along with lots of shops, bars and restaurants and furthermore during your stay you simply cannot forget about the many theatres and museums in order to get your cultural fix.

Many previous guests were impressed with the decoration in rooms and how clean and tidy they are with everything you need for your stay contained within and there are reports from guests that there have been renovations in the last couple of years which gives rooms a modern and contemporary feel.

Staff have received praise for always being attentive and willing to help you and will always strive to fulfil any requests that you may have with the front desk in particular receiving special praise for giving a warm welcome and going the extra mile such as providing directions or loaning umbrellas to guests.

Unfortunately rooms are not equipped with air conditioning so at times they can become quite stuffy and humid particularly in the warmer summer months although according to some reports iy may be possible for you to borrow a fan.

If you get down to breakfast later than your fellow guests then you may miss out as food isn't always replenished and there isn't always a cooked option available.

If you have to leave your window open at night then you may experience a lot of noise from the busy street below especially as there is a bar just opposite the hotel.
