Negative Reviews
negative:
Ventilation and thin walls
While most guests reported good stays, some felt that there are a few issues that really do need to be rectified in order to improve the overall guest experience here. First and foremost, a number of visitors felt that the bathrooms really need better ventilation. Additionally, noise from neighbouring rooms as well as the street outside was a problem for quite a few guests.
negative:
Lack of 24-hour reception and no communal area
The staff are helpful and the check-in process was swift, but a number of guests were surprised to note that there is no 24-hour reception here. Additionally, some also felt that the property was lacking a communal area as found in conventional hostels.
negative:
Thin mattresses
For some, the mattresses here were uncomfortably thin. This resulted in a poor night's sleep for a number of guests and did unfortunately impact on the overall experience at this hostel.
