No Comfort At This Inn
Guests who have stayed at other Comfort Inns complained that the Comfort Inn & Suites, Bell Gardens was inferior in every way. They reported old, worn and stained mattresses, broken equipment and door locks, chipped porcelain in the bathrooms and unpleasant smells. In the pool area, they described less than pristine conditions and a general lack of attention to the surroundings.

From the hotel's general manager to the front desk receptionist and housekeepers, guests complained that the staff were indifferent at best and sometimes hostile and rude. There were complaints of billing mix-ups, reports of guests given keys to occupied rooms and very little response when complaints were lodged.

A number of guests reported seeing cockroaches crawl across their rooms and over furniture, some guests even took pictures. Guests felt this infestation was a reflection of the overall inattention to quality of service at the hotel.
