Positive Reviews
positive:
Very convenient location
The hotel’s location was by far what guests most appreciated
during their stay. They loved being so close to the highway, since it made the
hotel easy to find when first arriving, and of course allowed them easy access
to the LA area’s central nervous system, its highways.
positive:
Comfy bed
By far the majority of guests commenting on bed comfort found them to be very comfortable indeed, in some cases even more comfortable than their bed at home. Given that complaints were few and far between, it seems that the hotel may have succeeded in selecting a mattress with truly broad appeal.
positive:
Very cheap rates
While guests didn’t really deal with the question of value for money, they did report that their room rate was quite low, especially compared to whatever else was available in the area. They felt that it was a cheap way to get a roof over their heads for a night.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Poor customer service
A worrying number of guests mentioned having run-ins with the front desk staff. They felt that they did not have a good customer service orientation, and were more interested in other matters, rather than making sure that their guests had a good stay.
negative:
Multiple cleanliness issues
A great many guests reported problems with the cleanliness of their rooms at check in. They felt that they were simply not clean enough to warrant being released for occupation. The specific issues were varied, but whatever they were, they did not give guests a very good first impression.
negative:
Very poor Wi-Fi
Guests were not impressed that, in this day and age, they were charged extra for Wi-Fi. But even after paying, many complained that the service was both unreliable and far too slow.
