Although guests found Monasterium Poortackere to be well-placed to explore the gorgeous city of Ghent by foot, the area itself proved to be nice and quiet, and conveniently, had some provision for parking.

Those who stayed found their rooms to be simple, but very large, clean and peaceful, and unexpectedly, with a good standard of Wi-Fi.
