Positive Reviews
positive:
Almost at St. Mark’s Square, walk everywhere.
You will find that the famous St. Mark’s Square is less than five minutes’ walk away and all of the other main attractions can likewise easily be reached on foot, as well as good restaurants in the back street and water taxis along the Grand Canal.
positive:
Venetian decor, Italian continental breakfast.
Guests found Lisbona’s rooms to be clean and well appointed, with classical Venetian decor which most found to be lovely, and the basic Italian-style continental breakfast included in the bill was considered to be fine for an easy morning meal.
positive:
Canal views and singing gondoliers.
Most of the rooms here have views out over the San Moise Canal, and guests really appreciated the views and the experience of listening to the gondoliers singing and talking to their gondola clients.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Rooms and bathrooms a bit cramped.
A fair number of those who stayed found their rooms to be a little cramped for their liking, but thought they were functional and generally okay for a short stay, particularly if you only want to use the room as a base to see the city.
negative:
Paid Wi-Fi.
The fact that Lisbona’s Wi-Fi was not free was disappointing to some guests, who thought it should really have been included in the price.
negative:
No lift, steep stairs.
Keep in mind that there are several flights of steep stairs to be found here and no lift, so this may be an issue if you are travelling with lots of luggage, unless you make sure to book a room in the lower floors.
