Hotel Imperiale by OMNIA hotels (Rome, Italy)

The hotel is within walking distance to a host of places. There are great tourist sites, you are near the metro station, and the centre of Rome is easy to get to. The Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are two places not to miss. If you like walking, you can take a nice stroll to Vatican City. However, the metro from Barberini will take you there and get you back to the hotel as well. The Hard Rock Cafe is a few feet away where you can have drinks late into the night.

The continental breakfast is passable. You will be served the basics like scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal, toasts, and a few other goodies.

Though the hotel is a somewhat old, it has a graceful charm and there has been some renovations and the rooms are clean.

You might find the staff non-communicative and iffy. Promises aren't kept and issues are not taken care of. It's as if they have little interest in you as a patron of the hotel. There seems to be a lack of training and hospitality. Don't be surprised if you are given wrong information or no information at all that could make a big difference to your stay at the hotel.

The hotel offers no converter for your devices if you are travelling from outside of Italy. The Wi-Fi is nearly non-existent, plastic cups should be a no-no, and the quality of the linens is questionable. The spa is actually separate from the hotel and will cost you extra.
