Positive Reviews
positive:
Pushing the barge out.
This is a different, fun type break and not suited to those expecting 5 star hotel luxury. The novelty of this accommodation in a Liverpool city centre location, makes for a truly memorable occasion and that's what we all want.
positive:
Surprisingly good facilities.
There’s so much space, you have to remind yourself that you are actually on a boat! The TV is great + who doesn’t like the Batman and The Joker theme!
positive:
Better than some hotels.
Beds are really comfortable and there’s everything in the kitchen to make a fab meal; unless you want to go ‘ashore’ and sample the Liverpool nightlife.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Sinking fast.
There’s little to joke about and not much to do with the Joker, apart from the odd DVD. Lots of things are broken and the boat is freezing cold. Not ideal for landlubbers!
negative:
Expensive parking.
If travelling here by car, there’s no ‘free parking’ and this is a city centre location, so parking is another cost to consider.
negative:
Ripples of concern.
The heating system is on the blink and water drips from everywhere; *it’s not sprung a leak, it’s condensation! Hatches are difficult to open and there’s quite a bit of rust throughout. Despite everything though, it's good fun and certainly different.
