Positive Reviews
positive:
Convenient location
The hotel is easy to find, just off the Interstate, and you can make a quick exit too if you're traveling onwards. If you want to explore Memphis while you're there, you can get to Beale Street pretty easily and quickly too. Eating out is not an issue either; guests will tell you that there is a good selection of restaurants and eateries nearby.
positive:
Great value
Guests book this hotel primarily for the price. They are, on the whole, satisfied that they have got a good deal for the amount they have paid.
positive:
Rooms are surprisingly comfortable
You won't get all the whistles and bells at this hotel, that's for sure. However, guests do say they are pleasantly surprised by the standard of what is offered. The beds are comfortable and the rooms quiet – especially when you consider that you are right next to the Interstate and several busy roads.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Skip the breakfast
Having breakfast included in the price seems like a good idea. However, it seems to backfire as many guests, a lot of them otherwise pretty satisfied, go away with a bad taste in their mouths – quite literally. Their first meal of the day is considered inadequate with a poor selection. Did someone talk about a hot breakfast? Guests, who feel they had been promised one, are perplexed as there is nothing remotely warm served up.
negative:
Staff can be unpleasant
There are mixed reviews about the staff. Although they are often considered friendly, there are also frequent comments about them being unwilling to help and plain rude to guests.
negative:
Cleanliness issues
Many guests find the hotel refreshingly clean. However, there are also frequent cases where guests find dirty or stained sheets or furniture in their rooms.
