Edale House is a well restored and stylishly comfortable, 4 star, Georgian style guest house facing the cricket green in Parkend village in the centre of the beautiful Forest of Dean. The property has 6 flexibly designed bedrooms which can be configured to provide 5 doubles and 1 twin or up to 3 doubles and 3 twins. Five are fully ensuite and the 6th has private shower facilities. A resident's lounge and adjacent honesty bar provide a comfortable place to unwind and contains ample information on the local area and attractions. Prices include the award winning breakfast and many excellent pub/restaurants are close by. All major attractions are within easy reach, including Nags Head Nature Reserve, walking distance, Steam Railway, Puzzlewood, a favourite with film producers, Clearwell Caves, Goodrich Castle and Tintern Abbey. The Forest offers facilities for gentle relaxation, through the exploration of historic places and history to high adrenaline sports including canoeing, cycling and scuba diving. A well surfaced family cycle trail is close by and bike hire is available in the village. We have full secure, alarned, CCTV cycle storage on site and the owner is a qualified cycle mechanic. We can cater for small dogs in our ground floor rooms on request.
