Positive Reviews
positive:
Location affords the best of both worlds
The fact that this hotel is located a little to the north of Blackpool means you can enjoy a traditional British beach holiday without all the hustle and bustle which the resort is so famed for. That being said, you can easily get a taste of the action and razzmatazz as the tram into Blackpool stops just 250 metres down the road.
positive:

It's clear to see that everyone working here, from the owners to the waiting staff, is keen to ensure every visitor to the hotel and/or restaurant thoroughly enjoys their time here. Great to see such high standards of customer service being maintained in seaside hospitality.

Portion sizes are very generous!
Whether it's a full English, a Sunday roast or indeed anything in between; you can be sure you'll get your money's worth when sitting down for a meal at the ‘Curbside Brasserie'!
Negative Reviews
negative:
Wi-Fi is a little hit-and-miss
Many guests have reported experiencing more than a few problems with the hotel's free yet somewhat temperamental Wi-Fi. Something to consider if you work online or need to connect with family and friends online
negative:
There's no lift
Despite the fact it is a really quite modern hotel overall, it is an unfortunate fact that there's no lift here. This, coupled with the plentiful stairs, means guests who suffer with mobility issues are likely to struggle a little if allocated an upper-floor room.
negative:
Beds aren't the best
Numerous visitors have been less-than-satisfied by the apparent lack of comfort afforded by the beds in the guest rooms. Time to invest in some new mattresses and pillows perhaps.
