Blue Moon Motel (Lake George, USA)

The owners of Blue Moon and their staff are approachable, courteous, and friendly, and will attend to every request or question as promptly as possible. If you need something, just ask, and they'll do what they can to help out.

With the trolley stop right there, the motel is a perfect base for relaxing in Lake George. You can easily get to many sites and amenities, and the noise level is never an issue. It's a quiet and peaceful spot for guests of all ages to unwind at.

The rates are reasonable, and the accommodations are simple. Good storage space, decent layout, and an cozy atmosphere within the rooms and outside at the pool all present a good place to stay at.

Many are disappointed by the bed and pillows being too firm. They're not as snugly and plush as they look, and can present difficulties resting and sleeping comfortably. You may want to bring a softer pillow with you, as back-up.

Although it's appreciated that there's coffee available in the morning, it would be better if the standard rooms had their own coffee makers. The simplicity of what's offered is too stark when you can't make a cup at your leisure.

The décor and ambience seem too dated, as if it was from a couple of decades' past, and never changed with the times. It would be nicer if the room had fresher colors, linens, and furnishings, and seemed more modern.
