Positive Reviews
positive:
Home-made breakfasts and host unbeatable
The home-baked muffins at breakfast seem to be a firm favourite with those who stayed here, with the waffles or pancakes, fruit and other tasty continental breakfast treats served up also being very popular and the cosy atmosphere of sharing the morning meal with fellow guests was something that was very much enjoyed. The host was also mentioned as being a lovely person who was hospitable, handy with knowledge of the surrounding area and ready to help in any way she could.
positive:
Banff centrality, parking for further explorations
Reviews noted that the centrality of this B&B made it easy to reach anything in downtown Banff on foot in next to no time, with a good range of shopping, restaurants, bars and a few supermarkets said to be close by. On top of this, the on-site parking spots provided meant that those wanting to get out into the Canadian Rockies and go hiking, skiing and exploring were able to do so easily.
positive:
Clean, cosy rooms in characterful lodge
Guests reported a very good level of cleanliness in the rooms here, in addition to comfy beds and all the basic necessities, and guests said that they did not mind the compact size since they did not come to Banff to simply sit in their rooms. The apparently historic building housing the lodge was also said to have a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of character.
